As the AVP, Overseas Transition Support, you will play a key role in facilitating the seamless transition of Singaporeans undertaking overseas assignments. Reporting to the VP, Strategic Projects, you will work closely with key stakeholders, including government agencies, corporate partners, and international networks, to ensure a comprehensive and supportive experience for these professionals at every stage of their international journey.

This role is especially suited for individuals with overseas work experience who understand the nuances of international transitions and cultural adaptation. The position also requires flexibility to work outside of standard Singapore working hours, as you will be engaging with stakeholders and program participants across multiple time zones.

Key Accountabilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with senior stakeholders, including government agencies (e.g., EDB, SGN) and corporate representatives, to support Singaporean professionals in their overseas assignments.
  • Programme Management: Support pre-departure, in-assignment, and post-return integration efforts to facilitate smooth transitions for professionals and their families.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of initiatives that enhance the overseas transition experience, ensuring alignment with broader talent development and leadership goals.
  • Network Building: Establish and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders to provide a seamless and holistic support system for professionals in their international assignments.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking: Manage reporting requirements, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and evaluate the effectiveness of transition support programmes.
  • Content Development & Delivery: Co-design and implement programmes, workshops, and engagement sessions that equip professionals with the necessary skills and resources for successful overseas transitions.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously enhance programme offerings based on stakeholder feedback and evolving talent mobility trends.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field is a plus
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
  • Relevant experience in leadership development, organizational development, executive education, community engagement, talent management or talent mobility is preferred but not a must.
  • Experience working with government agencies, corporate partners, or global networks is preferred.
